Privacy Statement

A first few web advertisers have begun to insist that any site that wants to run their ads must post a privacy statement. So here's mine, on the off chance Microsoft or IBM feels like blowing some of their spare billions in my direction:

"This website collects no personal data from its visitors, beyond those little scraps gathered by the web server that delivers its pages to people who ask for them. (I have no idea what it does for people who don't ask for them. Ignores them, I suppose.) I create no cookies, although I freely admit to consuming more than my share. In any event, I promise not to share any of the information that I do or don't gather about my visitors and their visiting habits with any third party. Heck, I don't even tell myself what I know!

I hope everyone feels better now. I certainly do.
